Im thinking about making a load of wormlights for the GP32 (around 50 to start off with) But the only way id really be making good profit from selling them would be to sell them at around £15 (P&P included).

would it be powerd by the GP32's Batteries or its own Batteries ??

The GP32 batterys, and you should get around 7-8 hours of play with it in......which is better than the 5 or 6 hours with FLU lighting.

have you already made a one for your self that u can post some pics up of??

I havent made mine yet but it seems simple enough. Alot of people have made them including TJFBryant, you can see the pictures of his below:

Also don't be tricked by these photos as TJFBryant said:

"The pictures are not that great because they just don't show how bright the light really is. PLUS the angle I had the wormlight at and the camera angle didn't make the overall quality of the picture very good."

Also once ive made mine ill try and make a little video of it working.

Remember im not definatly going to make a load of them, im just trying to find out who would be interested in buying one if i did :)

Shouldn't there be a way to make it brighter if you want, or dimmer? There should be a way to teak the power if you wanted, right? I though of making one for myself, but just never got around to buying the connector. :(

WHat about getting one of them Torches that strap to your Head (would that work) :D hehe

TFc, it may be worth it to you (profit wise) if you Mass producted these and shipped them from the UK. I ve gone over and over in my mind for a plan for me to do the same about 5 months ago. BUt for me shipping out of the US, its too costly for me. I would have to charge 30 US dollars for something like that including shipping of course. Its just not cost effective for me. BUT for you it may work out. If you need any help or need any suggestions..don't hesitate to PM me or email me. I'll also give you a secret which will allow your light to be brighter than is allowed. It may make more of a battery drain but that is up to you. I personally think the unedited version of building one works fine for me.

BTW, we can't forget to thank Phoda, (the Person who built the original plans for the GP32 wormlight) I just took his idea put it to reality and made a quick revision of his idea.

Again TFC, you need help..I am there

Hey TFJBryant! Yeah if I did mass-produce these things im most likely only going to ship to the UK, unless someone really wants one and is willing to pay the shipping to another country :)

Yeah I will definatly give Phoda some credit for the initial idea ;)

I will be emailing you again soon for some help ;)

Cheers

Considering their is going to be a lack of FLU GP32`s until next year , i think it would be a profitable venture. keep us updated on whether you decide to make them. £15 sounds very reasonable. :D

Well if I get around 20-30ish yes'es on the poll ill make up a batch of 20 wormlights and sell them to begin with :)

Check out GP32emu.com for the next couple of week and you should see some news about the wormlights on there :)

Yes i would be most definitely interested. :)

I was very much interested in the wormlight when
TJFBryant made his and posted pictures.

But am sad to hear that he will no longer be
making them. :(

Anyway, Count me in. :D

From the uk btw.

Trooper and all others,
I apologize for not being able to create and Mass Produce the wormlights. It just wasn't cost effective for me. I would have been literally paying for the finished lights out of my pocket and almost giving them away for free if I charged only a small fee. Also, since TFC is from the UK like many of you. I am sure the shipping would not only be cheaper, but also probably quicker. I am in NY and would have a very large exporting shipping fee. Don't worry though I offered TFC my advice and help if he needed it, so I ll be there to help out in anyway I can.

Since the FLU units have been stopped, the demand for these wormlights may be higher than usual. That is why this is a good idea that TFC has created. Its nice to know that where some people have left off, others have picked up, and moved on to really help the community.

I am glad interest is still there too.
Here here to all you none FLU GPer's.

TJFBryant is correct, im lucky and have found somewhere I can get gb/gbc wormlights v.cheap :) Still having a bit of trouble getting the connectors but I should be able to get a load.

P.S Somebody on IRC was asking me where he could get the connectors because he wanted to start mass-producing wormlight for people in the USA (he was from USA too).
