Reading that review on the main site i saw the guy say this
Unfortunately this feature remains reserving however so far excluding Korean GP32 owners

Do koreans have a webbrowser? and if so why hasnt any1 got the software? or its it like moviepark/gpcinema and needs to be encoded onto the gp32?

Just wondering why we cant get the webbrowser or is the guy in the review wrong?

What would be the point? None of our phones are compatible. I realise a fair number of sad people would sit there, their GP32 tethered to a PC by the USB cable, just so they could browse the net on their GP32. (Even though their PC is already perfectly capable of browsing the internet)

Actually, if you had a little sister who "must check" her email "right now" but you're in the middle of a heated diablo match or whathaveyou, you could hand her the GP32 and never leave your computer. Perhaps. You see, a GP32 web browser may indeed have some creative uses right now.

Don't forget, a web browser in it's simplest form is designed to view web pages and doesn't actually have anything to do with net connectivity at all. All you would need is an app on your pc to grab the pages, copy them to the gp32, then disconnect and browse at your leisure. Avantgo for the palm even allows you to fill in forms offline, then it sends the data when you next sync the device.

Hand my little sister (even tho she's now 22) my GP32? I'd rather gouge my eyeballs out with blunt chopsticks!! :D

Woogal said what i was thinking you can just download the html pages onto the gp32 then read it later. You could run webzip which will download the whole site and images then u just copy the foler over to the gp32 simple and easy :)

Couldnt some sort of adapter be made for Euro/American phones to work with the gp32?

I wouldnt even mind if it didnt connect to the internet, just an html browser would b excellent. You could save all the pages that you want to read at a later date as mht file or sumthin then view them later.

Isn't it also going to have something to do with multiplayer stuff? I seen some video that had the gp32 hooked up to a cellphone for multiplayer gaming.

I just want to note this. It would be cool to have, but i wouldnt use it. There is no need to go on the internet with it when im right next to a computer, and i dont have a cell phone so....

Yeah but seeing as the gp is a portable device, it would be handy for those of us who are away from the computer to access the internet. It'd be cool to check to see if i had enough money for the clothes i was trying on in the changing rooms of the shop :D

Here's something for those of you desperate to view HTML files on your GP32 and who have way to much time on their hands, there's a program that converts HTML pages into SG100 roms (roms for Segas first console), for which there is an emulator available Here, the program to convert them is avaiable Here
