Wow, Some of the advertisments are silly. I kinda like the guy in the cowboy hat selling the computers. He is soo American. I actually dont ever see people like that but I assume thats what cool americans look like. :D

languages, ok:

the instructions will be in the 3 launch countires, (spanish, portuguese, italian) AND in french and english.
The product manager of virginplay said at a interview in a spanish radio that the games WILL BE IN MULTILINGUAL, so we can see al the games in the last 5 languages translated.

great!

Somehow... it feels really, really strange to see the GP32 on the Mediamarkt homepage. I feel like... like something bad is goin to happen. Sorry if I sound stupid, but that's the way it is ;) For some reason, I have the feeling that the euro launch is bad. I looked forward to it, but seeing it now... um... I'm completely stupid, right?

Yes. :D

Holy crap! If it's in the MediaMarkt-ads, then it is 100% serious. At least here in Germany, MediaMarkt is one of the really big stores that have got locations at almost every bigger city...
And if it is on the frontpage of the website, it will hit like _teh bomb_. I'm serious. People will _flood_ this board. If every MediaMarkt-Store sells like 20 GP32s (which is sort of realistic) and about 10% of those customers speak English and surf the web, you will have to run for cover from people bombing this board. And hopefully, there will be some coders among them.

here in spain have many shops, and some of them ,like Vlaencia Palau de congressos are the most big shop in spain (only dedicated to this kind of things).
Media Martk is a serious company, and its a good new to see the system in the principal spanish site.
and the system looks like wonderfull, are you agree with me?
if media martk says that they will sell the system, they will sell the system, you know, they never publicity fakes, or cancelled launchments, as some stupid rumours said....
(im not saying that the people that have bad feelings are stupid, only that the launch its definetly)

I have had spanish people describe portugeese as very dirty spanish. English is just dirty in general..soo, dont know where that gets us.

It seems like the BLU is the only version to be released in the Euro launch. I might be the only one, but I think that is a bad idea. The BLU is very expensive when compared to the other handhelds, and even some PDAs. From what I have heard most people don't like to spend that much for toys like that. What they SHOULD do is sell both the BLU for high end and regular non-lit version for the low end. This way the people that don't want to spend much for a handheld toy can get a version for not too much investment.
