Gp2xengine 1.2 Beta

I'm noticing savestate problems. In final lap twin I've successfully savestated for a couple days.

Now I can't get my savestate to update anymore. I haven't updated firmware or applied any kind of 'write saver' patch, so it must be the emu. I've tried exiting the emu properly after savestate, exiting the game and selecting another. The savestate is saved while the system is on, (I can immediately load it) but when I turn it off, I'm back to my old savestate. is this a known issue? I'm trying to get it as repeatable as possible. I'll be trying it in other games today, since I have a day off.

Any chance the emu simply isn't synching properly? You could probably test this by, after quitting the emu, running something that definitely contains a sync() command (or doing it yourself via a script or one of the term emulators), and *then* turning the unit off and on.

I assume, idd, that it loads if you quit the emu and then re-run it as your post kind of implies?

right now I'm starting to think my problem might also be a slight SD incompatability.
My save states started to work when selecting another game, (still wouldn't work when just exiting the emu) but then it disappeared when trying something different. when I say disappeared, I mean that it won't load (resets game) but the .sav file is still there when I checked my computer. now I'm going to delete the save and start fresh.

upon emulator exit after trying to save over this savestate (once it 'disappeared') I got a blackscreen and had to hard down on both boots that that I tried it on. I'm thinking it's just me. Nothing on this system had an actual save anyway, if I recall. Maybe I should just write the password down.

Can someone please put up an example TOC they have working, I have tried several different ways of writing my own using information from several different sources and still cant get any music playing on CD games, thanks ZBo for the one you sent me.

Trying to get Dynastic Hero working, couldnt get Castlevania working either, the game is fine just no cd music.

Thanks in advance.

I have used the following

Leadin

track07.wav
track08.wav
track09.wav

for Dynastic Hero, the files for the game are named exactly as they are in the TOC, i have also tried

Leadin
Track01.wav 00:45:00
Track02.iso 00:00:00
Track03.wav 02:02:00

the running times are taken from the files themselves.

I have tried using Track1.wav, renaming the music filed in the game, my directory structure is J:roms/pcengine/dhero

am I doing something wrong?

Could it be a captialization issue? After all, Fat32 is weird, seemingly, about the distinction between cpatials and small letters - it capitalises some of them but displays something else.

Linux, in contrast, displays what's there, but takes account of the fact that an A is not an a.

Probably wrong, of course, but hey - worth a try, perhaps.

Made sure everything was in the correct case, still no joy.

Give up time methinks, dont normally, but hours have passed on this and It wont work for me, Ill wait for another build with CUE support, see if it makes a difference.

Thanks for all the help guys.

Wouldn't pure cd emulation be better, as in running a full .iso file without having everything seperate?

Just a thought.

Does the emulator look for specific names for the music? I named my tracks dracx01.wav, dracx03.wav, etc. Do they have to be named track1.wav, track3.wav, etc?

If someone could post a working DracX toc.

Or make one from this image i found

Toc%20Originale.gif

1.3 is out.

I can now get isos running, but the wav audio is still a no go.

Edit: Lords of Thunder is a go.
