The GP2X is featured on page 12 of the current issue of Stuff magazine in the UK. It's number 2 in their Hot Stuff, The Hot Five feature. Here's what they said:
Nice to see the 2X get a whole page to iself in a highstreet mag - even if they left out the homebrew nature and the community . Nice big glossy picture though...
Stuff loves to champion the underdog but all too often it's ill-advised. He typically doesn't have the resources to create products worth having and, when we-re heart on sleve honest about this, he gets snarly and bites our ankles. We expect no such thing from the GP2X though. this Linux-running multimedia device has a dual-core 240MHz ARM processor that offers blistering performance on SNES, Megadrive and Atari ST emulators, DivX movie playback (with widescreen TV out) and the 500-odd free games currently available online. Underdog it might be but it looks like a friendly Alsatian to Stuff - big tetth, powerful jaws and a keen sense of intelligence.
Rating: As hot as a big, sweaty dog on fire.
