Gp2x, 165 Euro, Including Vat. + P&p.

It that is true I am preeeee-ordering ;)

Does he plan to have any value packs with a 1GB SD already added?

Hmm on the official GPH page they also mention
www.flashlinker-shop.de
as an official German retailer, but their preorder price is significantly higher.
It costs 189€ there (probably plus shipping).

VAT: Value Added Tax
A tax in % that is put on everything you buy from a tax registrated company. The tax depends on country and can also vary on what type of item you buy.

In Sweden culture (like books etc) have only 6% VAT. Food have 12% and most items have 25%. Too bad games are not yet considered cultural but the fact is that most kids here learn english from games.

Hum, I learned some good words from DejaVu on the NES... Though, that happened to be swedish version. Stackars Ace!

25% is very high but I think it's the same for all Scandinavian countires. Thing is that the countires are quite large but the population is low and we also get a lot from our taxes.

What's the best way to learn something? You must think it's interesting to know and thus when kid play english games they not only get to use what english they have learnt in school but they will also be asking their parents or using a dictionary.

Here in USA, Ny its 8.5% Thats for everything (Some food items aren't taxed, and interstate buys aren't taxed, like if i buy over ebay) 165 euro isn't bad though.

Uhh btw, the 165€ price is just a special preorder price, the normal price will be higher (185€, due to several reason explained on the gp2x.de forum).

In Ontario (Canada), it's 15% on any items over $20CAD.

EDIT: Well, according to xe.com GP32Z is still cheaper for me. $212CAD vs. $232CAD.
