There's some underground talk about code adaptation, but still nothing official, it's anyway more than before.

There is yet a lot to fix even just for the Windows version ... also on Linux it's even more complicated, it's not just a matter if the client works, but how many games will run without issues, Steam is way ahead in this road, for now it can also run there a lot of Windows games without the need of a manual configuration.

In the last Galaxy patch changelog there's a note about a fixed scrollbar issue with the tag [Windows], it's the first time I see that ... and could lead to some interpretation ...

Seems like they did a big update to GALAXY.

I can't try it because now is limited to Win 10 64bit +

But they did the right thing to lock future updates for all the older OS, to leave the client working.
The only client who did that before is Steam, all the others (Origin/EA, Ubisoft, Indiegala) forced the update breaking the client ... Epic Store is in the middle, it doesn't force the update but constantly asks me (twice at every start) to do it, if one day I miss the right choice I'm done even with that.

I didn't notice any difference.
They updated to 64 bit and switched the web renderer to qt.
Most likely to get cross platform support.

Faster loading is nice. Start up time with 300 games installed is ridiculous.
Mostly however, I am waiting for better gamepad support.
