So, Polukus, by your definition....I should have sympathy for the banksters here in America...whose illegal actions tanked our economy, with the following result:
My father died a young man, 51 years old, in 1999. He did not have a paid-for house, or any life insurance, he left my mom virtually nothing.
As a result...in order to keep the house they had built together, my mother worked TWO jobs...one, a full-time job in New Jersey - a 65 mile one way commute....the other a 7-day-a-week, 365-day-a-year rural newspaper route, encompassing 70 miles. five days a week, she drove nearly 200 miles every day, and worked about 11 hours - add in the commute and it was about a 14-hour day. The other two days, the weekend, she still had the paper route and three hours a day.
She did this from 1999 till 2009, when the crashed economy caused he to lose the newspaper route. The paper company, in efforts to economize...split her route among four other carriers and cut her off.
The next year, 2010, she lost the job in New Jersey...due to the faltering, crappy economy...caused by the banksters illegal activities.
NOW...my mom is on the verge of losing this house she worked so hard to keep - nobody should ever have to work as hard as my mom did...and then lose it all anyway!!
And I should feel sorry for these shitty bankers who caused the problem? Shit, no!!
When someone undertakes activities that hurt other people...they deserve NO sympathy...NONE!!
By your thought process, Polukus...I should feel bad for those poor little banksters, who might just have to sell a yacht...and who gives a shit about my poor hard-working mom who is about to be thrown out into the street, and lose everything she worked so hard...for so long...to keep!!
No, no, and HELL NO!!!
Sorry for my soapbox here, but, DAMN!! I am sick and tired of the people who DO the hurting getting all the sympathy and support while the victims get jack.
