I picked up Little Wizards and Kimchi Men the other day and they just arrived. I'm a sucker, so also ordered ASR, Tomak and some other.. losing too much cash thi way, but what the heck ;) Hoping to also get Her Knights but can't find it anywhere to order..

Dungeon and Guarder.. English friendly.. but unless I'm missing something.. not really fun. OKay, but not a big draw :)

Little Wizards.. full english speach etc, and really fun game. When things really get moving, theres some slodown, but I'm an old arcade guy, and unless you beat the hardware until it slows, its not a real game. Great animation and artwork, and fun game. The spells are wild. Just played a quickie now where I turned the other guy into a goat.. but he was using the same char as me, so he turned me into a goat at the same time. IT was fun as hell to butt horns with the other guy for a minute till the spell wore off. Really fun.

Kimchi Men .. like D&G; sort of fun, but not really fun. I played only with one char so far, but the artwork let me down a little in one respect.. the background moved too slow rleative to the foregrounds.. so it really lookedlike you were stationairy while moving :/ But we'll see.. I've not givden it much airtime yet, since Little Wizards rocks.

Should I write full reviews, or has this been done to death?

I was thinking of getting that little wizards, as it looks like one of the best, all the other reviews mention a REALLY slow frame rate which made the game very annoying, and too much happening in the background which made more lag and it looked a mess. Not my words, but the review said something along the same lines, what do you think? I think the only game I want to 'buy' will be all for the princess or something.... looks easy and fun to play with little english needed, but then I am not really getting a GP for the retail games : )

Did you get it from Liksang? How much was postage/total cost and how long was delivery?

Thanks

Gpfight sounds like fun to me... any reviews available yet?

--to me Gpfight looked like a rehash of River City Ransom\Mystical Ninja but somehow looked worse - I've got to be honest - but that little wizard looked good though

I'm waiting for L-S to ship my GPFioght :) Should have it in a few days hopefully :)

Her Knights (AKA All for Princess) looks pretty good. If I'd known it HK was called AFP I'd have bought it too :/ Damn :/

I've not played Lil Wizard too much, but so far it seems really dfun. Its not a liquid framerate by any means, but its not unpleasant either. I dunno.. maybe I'm used to choppy fighters :) Its not as fast as say the fighters on a neo geo pocket, but these are lasrger and funkier sprites.

I'm enjoying it :)

I paid $23USD for shipping (Canada, via UPS); items arrive 2 days after being shipped, which is pretty funky. I'm getting stupid over GP32, so didn't mind the big hit. We'll see if I get duty though :/

Thats good idea. I could post it in reviews on gp32 xtreme :)
Alright; I'll see what I can do; I mean to write a little review of the GP32 itself for a local user group (of gadgets), and thought I might as well write some reviews of the games and emus so far.

If I get that far, I'll let everyone here know.. since I'm goign to have about 6 or 7 commercial games soon, which is likely more than most :)
