Now would be a good time to realise the scheme you figured out a bit earlier, releasing 3 beta's a day, and let... DaveC I think it was, pour in the cash trough donations.
Aaaa, would it be possible to release the current (stable?) beta to the general public? I've postponed MD games in anticipation of V2.0, and withdrawal symptoms are killing me...

He has spent alot of time with all of those dumb suggestions and couldn't finish the stuff that matters like getting good compatiblity and good speed. Now you all get NOTHING for months <_<

@ Reesy- Really sorry to hear about your job man. I wish you the best of luck

And now would be a good time for donating if you aleady haven't. Not only would you get the newest beta, which has DAC voices and correct music speed, but also you would be helping Reesy out too.

Although you guys are being nice and saying "sorry about your job",
you still want more.
@ Reesy: If I were you, I'd put my location in the thingy, so people who live by you can try to help.

Why you quoting me? All I, personally, requested was the ability to brew coffee with DrMD. It's a minor thing, few lines to loop the code and heat up the CPU.

There is usually loads of DB work knocking about. All you need do it trawl a few job sites (eg www.jobserve.co.uk) and you should turn up plenty of short-term contracts. When you ask for more info it will DEFINATELY be an agency and they will want to put you on their books. They'll then contact you whenever anything remotely suitable comes in. After that all you need is an umbrella company, of which there are many. They take a small cut of your pay in return for sorting all the accounting etc.
Again, sorry if this was already obvious. Good luck with the job!

I haven't in the past really considered contracting as an option, its just too unpredictable. I prefer to have a permenant job. But since I'm out of work and need to get some money fast I may look into further. I've got a few interviews lined up for next week, if they don't pan out I'll start looking at temperary/contract positions.
Thanks for the info though, I appreciate it.
Now that I've got a few interviews and sent my CV to every agency I can think of, theres not I can do but sit back and wait. So I may do some work on DrMD and get the next beta out...Hopefully.
