Personally I've no desire for auto fire... All the shooters I play have an option for rapid fire in the game. But then, my GP is relatively new and I dont use it much, so I've no idea how easy it is to wear out the button membranes.
I will say, I'm pretty sure what they want is to be able to turn rapid fire on or off individually for each of the three buttons, if that's possible. Also, and I'm pretty sure you already would do it this way anyways, but if it were ME, I know I probably wouldn't think of it the first time 'round, since I always use the default button assignments... at any rate, can you set it up so that the auto fire is assigned to the actual emulated buttons (A,B, or C) regardless of which buttons on the GP you have them assigned to? Might be a nasty bug if someone assigns auto fire and then during the game, changes the button assignments and then auto fire doesn't know what to do. Forgive me if this is way common sense to ya...
