No doubt I do WANT a card reader...
How long does it take to 'fill up' a 128MB SMC using the gp32 as the writer? I'm used to flashing my GBA cart which takes about 5 mins for 32MB. 20 mins for 128mb is gonna suck
but then again that's not USB but rather, serial port so, hopefully writing on the GP32 is faster? Well... if worse comes to worse... I dont think it's gonna be like my gba where I'm changing games on the card all the time... just put my emus on there for the GP and I should be done.
Any good tips on where to get a card reader for cheap? Lik sangs are like $20... like you said, it's already adding up to quite a bit.
What about an AC adapter? GP32 has a port for one right? Is it compatible with old gba adapters or any other common adapters? It wouldn't be a problem to just leave it plugged in while flashing.
Glad to hear the screen is more durable than a GBA at least... had to replace mine about 3 times in a year, even being very careful with it. Until I got that fold down cover/light accesory for it and could leave the screen covered. Wish there was some kind of screen cover for the GP at least... or can I use like a PDA screen protector maybe, that would cover the whole thing? anyone using one of these?
