1. Yes, also having a SMC reader/writer has no effect on flashing the FW, you can do one w/o it. Also you have to backup your orig FW first if you want to go back, but of course going back has the same risk as coming to the flashed FW world
2. With PacRom some work, some don't and some do sometimes, with Muti-FW you can always use the orig FW (w/o reflashing) to launch it, and with windups, it dosen't even know how to launch commercial games (also you can't flash wind-ups, the only way is flashing Muti-FW which has windups included)
3. Muti-FW (Mr. Spiv) 4 SURE, it icludes 1. the orig FW (w/o the intro) 2. PacRom 3. Windups 4. PcLink (yes, a FW that is just PC-Link
)
4. No, but why? In PacRom it shows more programs on one page, you can keep the Up/Down button held, and move pages with L/R and also, you can set it to automaticially hi-light the last prg you used, so you don't have to find it again (but I turned it off because I heard that EEPROM can only be (re)written 100,000 times, and that is unreplacable (I think) even though I know that would last about 3 years if I change it 100 times a day, I want to be safe
)
GRRR, You beat me 2 it :angry: but I have a longer explanation
Oh, and remember this, IT ISN'T MY FAULT, GAMEPARK'S FAULT OR ANYONE ELSE'S FAULT IF YOUR GP32 BREAKS BECAUSE OF FLASHING ok?
