Firefox 14.0.1 source is out

btw. I think FaeMinx referred to this

Just an issue I have found and I don't know if was there in the previous version...

If I highlight some text with the pen and then keep pressed to open the contextual menu (the right click menu) but I move the selection, the highlighted text becomes the cursor !! And I'm not able to click anymore in the entire OS !! Even the Pandora button doesn't open the menu... the only thing I can do is reboot, even if the OS is still working

EDIT: with ALT+F2 is possible to open the terminal without the mouse... can always be useful

EDIT 2: if firefox is killed the cursor returns normal and can click again

Source

Just a thought but I'd suggest opening about:config and changing nglayout.enable_drag_images to False as I think it may mitigate or fix this issue.

- Neelix

Is this something I can do? Or must I wait for hdonk to do it in v14

My mozconfig is highly customized for Firefox, but next time I'm near my Pandora SD cards, I'll try to remember to pull it out.

You can test it by typing 'about:config' in the URL box, then making the change Neelix suggested.

If it works, I'll put it in as one of the patchset changes I make.

Ok. It certainly helps!

I can now use Firefox as I am use to with the stylus.

However, if you select text and try to drag it with the stylus then the same error occurs.

Is there a setting in about:config that I can change to disable text dragging as well?

I assume you have not gotten your 1Ghz unit, but could you at least build firefox 14 as its been a few months...

Erm, nope I couldn't. It's natively built, and I have no native machine to build it anymore.

I'm afraid you're going to have to wait, or build it yourself...
