Fgen 32 Crashes At 156mhz

Still Fresh
has anyone else at problems with fgen32 at speeds above 133mhz
my gp32_console clocks to 156 no problem on other emus but crashes on fgen32
anyone else had similar problems
not batteries have used psu

many thanks :D

Your GP doesn't support 156 Mhz on fGen32, that's all. ;)

My BLU supports 166 Mhz without any problem on every apps, even fGen32...so your GP isn't a "true" 156 Mhz supporting one.

That's odd, I have the complete opposite, it never seems to crash, I can normally only run at 160mhz, but on fgen I can run at 166mhz with no problems. Perhaps it is just a non-working rom you're trying to play?

I can O/C to 166 in fGen32, no problem. I experience problems in OpenSNES9x after about 15 minutes at 166 though. (That is seriously annoying, 15 minutes!)

i can play at 156mhz on any other program for hours EXCEPT for fgen, i honestly don't think its the gp32_console s that are having a problem. Why would everything else run fine except fgen?

Stresses on the CPU can be much higher in certain emulators, making the system unstable.

fGen is a VERY good hardware test and it uses custom CPU/bus timings so don't expect 156Mhz in fGen to relate to 156Mhz using the GP SDK or Mirko's SDK.
