Here's my massive picspam, with commentary:
I bring hula hoops to volunteer-run hotel Sci-Fi conventions on the eastern seaboard of the US. It's a fun way to pass time between interesting panels and getting megadrunk'd at the room parties.
This one's two and change years old, but I like it. It shows off part of my local community center, which has some really great dudes.
The aftermath of an annual Masquerade party held in Brooklyn. It's from the one last year; the most recent one was this Saturday, but I like the picture above better.
Last year's big "Kaleidoscope" mobile renegade parade, which went around Roosevelt Island and Red Hook (both in NYC) and Staten Island and thereabouts.
Also in Brooklyn -- one of the pastimes in the New York area is called "Urban Spelunking". It's basically where you sneak into old or grimy places and explore around, getting into mimimal amounts of actual trouble.
Taking a break while helping to clean up at the NYC annual mass pillow fight this month.
From this past weekend, me with friends at an art show opening. They had a guy who played music using primarily Game Boys.
I'll spare y'all the torment of having to see me in a kilt made almost entirely out of tea. Posting that was rather tempting, though.
Instead, here's a parting shot of what I look like inside my skin, courtesy of my employer's 3T MRI machine:
....being a camera whore makes the wait for a Pandora much, much less agonizing.
