Spider-Man Vs. The Kingpin

Whoa does Spider-Man Vs. The Kingpin actually work on the Gp2x version of Drmd because it never worked on the Gp32 version. Its kind've a crappy game but it was the first game I ever played on the Genesis and beat.

I'm almost considering getting a Genesis console on eBay, but I'd rather pick up a GP2X next year with TV out. An amazing console the Genesis was, and an amazing emulator DrMD is :D

gunstar heroes is SO fun! and musha is HARD, i have musha for my genisis and i am not very good at it, i love vectorman tho, great game

Here is my little list of what i remember from childhood:
- Generel Chaos (My bro and I would waste hours playing this)
- Todd's Adventure In Slime World (my bros friend picked this up at a garage sale for cheap and we played it forever)
- Beyond Oasis (I played this on Sega Channel, but incidentally my save was overwritten by another game -- the only bad thing about sega channel)
- Toy Story (all around great fun)
- Road Rash, all 3 of them (terrific games)

Anyone play the rpg Ring of Power? Im looking into playing it. I guess this game is huge. Its not a conventional linear rpg, i have heard you can have up to 8 objectes going at one time.

Syndicate is an isometric cyberpunk-esque shoot-em-up. You contol a team of 4 cyborgs who have to roam around various cities blowing up cars, shooting people, persuading people to join your syndicate and researching new technologies.

On the Amiga and PC it worked really well - you controlled your 4 agents with the mouse, clicking where you wanted them to go. They could be controlled individually or in groups. The graphics were really special - gritty, Blade Runner-style visuals, with all the agents dressed in trench coats that swept around when they walked. Huge explosions and massively overpowered weapons like the Gauss Gun that fills a good part of the screen with smoke when it's fired.

On the Genesis and SNES, the game retained the general idea, but lost most of the atmosphere and playability. Sega and Nintendo sanitised the game, so all of the graphics are cartoony (think Double Dragon on the NES compared with the arcade version). The controls are fiddly (no mouse), and for me, the whole thing lost it's appeal.

Couple more games, not sure if they've been mentioned yet:

- Prince of Persia (like the other 16-bit versions, but with slicker graphics);
- Rocket Knight Adventures;
- Marble Madness (love this game despite the lack of a trackball);
- Shadow of the Beast 2 (more enjoyable than the first one).

I guess someone should mention

Shining in the Darkness

A first Person RPG with up to 3 party members, it's a little old and the graphics aren't that impressive(SMS-ish) but it's after all nice and while it sure was a pain on the megadrive, it's fine when emulated and with save states on your side ;)
