having got the sdk up and running and written a few basic things , i want to try and port an ebook reader across, anybody got any suggestions for existing open source readers that we could port across, the basic ebook reader aka text file reader is pretty poor !!!
To read them?how hard would it be to make it able to read OpenDocument (.odf) files?
I'm looking into Flite, but then again I say I'm looking into a lot of things and don't get round to doing anything, so don't expect much.If you (or anyone) could incorporate the Flite voice synthesis engine to read e-books back through the speakers/headphones that would rock. Should also incorporate a screen on/off button like the MP3 player so it doesn't waste the batteries.

Downloadable in the archive under Utilities, I can't be bothered to link it![]()
Yes it does sound great, I assume it is produced under the Stun-A-Vole brand and marketed by the Bewilder-A-Beast folks. (Have you seent the Confuse-A-Cat Ltd. skit by Monty Python?    )WeaselReader sounds the best (I`m just judging from the name here)
