Gutted.
My GP2x just refused to turn on with fresh batteries. Trying no to panic, I decided to open it up and have a look... Though there's no obvious damage, the on/off sliding swithc has stopped working. I checked this with some taped-on batteries and a couple of pairs of croc clips. It works with a croc clip across the switch terminals.
Yep, I know I shouldn't have opened it up, voiding my warranty, but that's just the way I am. Damn.
Does anyone have an idea of a part number for the little switch or an appropriate similar one? This is the main power SW1. I have loads of toggle switches that I reckon would work, but they're all much too big in size. I'm pretty handy with a soldering iron after a couple of years circuit bending drum machines but thought I might ask for help here as I know a few people have had the thing apart for mods etc...
Help.
Thanks
