Curious About The Control Pad

I am so glad this one does not click, or I could never play it in the car or plane without everyone going crazy around me.

Also the ad prcision is great. The only thing I am not sure is how the controller is bent outword instead of inward. But that does not bother me too much because most controllers are like that.

Eugh. You guys are right, I don't think I'm gonna like this click.

I never cared for it on the old SF games, and I think it'll be even more annoying this time. I wanna play my emus dammit, and playing Castlevania 3 never clicked!!

Oh well. Seems like a good system, but I never wanted a handheld that makes extra sounds. What's the point? In fact, now I'm worried about the stability of the stick altogether.....
Sigh.

the stick of the gp32 seems to be very robust, microswitches are known to hold way longer than that ugly foil-on-pcb switches that are used for dpads and buttons.
iam optimistic that the gp2x's stick is the enxt logical step after the gp32 one and will eliminate the problems the gp32 stick had.

Looking forward to finding out how this stick actually feels :). I've always loved the GP32 stick, but more for the positive response (you KNOW when you've pushed in a direction - you can feel it) than for its clickyness. Not that the clicks ever bothered me - but no clicks imo is better than clicks.

This way, GPH seems to have given us (probably) the best of both worlds... although we'll have to wait until the system's in hand to know for sure, of course.

The GP2X doesn't click. You might want to consider getting a 2X to replace the 32 someday.
