GeneralNMX: STOP telling people to defrag their SMC! It is not necessary, because defragging makes no difference on a solid-state medium, and if you knew how data is stored on a SMC, you'd know it does nothing to make the data more organised.
Bah sorry. I actually knew that, but working as Technical Support for 2 years you get used to saying "Run a Scandisk then Defrag" as one of the last-resort options to fixing a problem. I'll edit my post. And by the way, this was my first slip-up
