It really depends on what software is ported to it.
Emulators are a certianty. SOME UMPC software will most likely be ported. It may eventually have a complete library of umpc software, but buying one at launch expecting it to function as an UMPC out of the box would be a bad idea.
Truth is it that while it will almost certainly fulfil its potential as an emulation/gaming device, with a few kick-arse emulators from the word go, and many more likely to follow in the first week or two after release, it may someday or may never fulfil its potential as an UMPC. Depending on who gets one, and what they develop for it.
