How can I find out which clock speed my processor has? I think I bought the 270Mhz version but I really can't remember. Can someone help please?

Thank you

Sorry new to all this, what is the gpsp tester? and where do I get it?

Thank you

Hi, there is probably a more technical answer for you, but thats what I have done in the past. GPSP is the GBA emulator, you can use others though.

GPSP2X has a CPU Speedtest on bootup - you can find it here:
GPSP2X

Just try overclocking in an application until it crashes, gpsp has a good tester :)
gpsp doesn´t have a tester, you are probably referring to the tester of the CPU/LCD tweaker which is always loaded before gpsp starts. This is a different program altogether.

Well, anyway, the said tester is not very accurate for most people. I, for instance can go up to 290 MHz stable, but the tester says i could go up to 305 MHz.

Is there no way of knowing CPU speed via system info or model number, something like that. I just want to make sure that I have got the right product.

You have to manually overclock. Don't worry the worst thing that can happen from overclocking on the GP2X is the console will crash. You just turn it off and try a lower overclock next time. Trepeat until the console is overclocked and doesn't crash :)
