Cheaper SDHC cards?


Which is why we don't use swap files on flash media.
I've only got swap on my laptop in case of emergency. Even hard disk swap is impractically slow.

And what was this TV guide thing?
I can understand video editing being rough on flash, and swapping to it is just insane, but I don't understand what you meant by "TV guide".

It downloaded a TV guide in XML format and parsed it, into a usable TV guide. For those without digital cable, they could easily see what was on, and even change channels with it (never got proper lirc support, so it only worked with my TV).

It downloaded them over WiFi and wrote them to the SD card, but it was horribly inefficient, and over the hours of testing the download function, my MS Pro Duo died.
