Yep,
I'm doing alot of weird posts, but I'm actually just comparing this to other devices [I've already paid for my OpenPandora!].

Can this (or will it be possible) to do a Multi Boot?
Something like: E17, Gentoo, Android, A KDE system if one comes out...

You will be able to boot different operating systems from SD. See here for what's in development: http://pandorawiki.org/Projects_Under_Development#Operating_Systems

Out of the box there will be a multiboot-ish arrangement that will let you switch between a full desktop environment (likely E17) and a more stripped back launcher (Pmenu, by Cpasjuste).

THANK YOU!
I would like to try all OS's but I dont like to reinstall.

I hate losing all my data (which is why I love my Mac and TM).

I cant wait for the day when someone installs and gets KDE running with Touch Screen Working with it!
I'm still trying to port Arduino GUi over.. Perfect System this could be.

Note that the operating systems are distinct from desktop environments.

E17, xfce, Matchbox, and KDE are desktops that run on top of an operating system, usually Linux.

Gentoo and Angstrom are different kinds of Linux, and Android is some kind of bizarre Linux / Not-Java.

You have some NAND space available, so you could keep some small amount of data there to share between OSes; further you have 2 SDHC slots, so boot from one and keep data on the other, or keep multiple OSes on one SD etc.

During dev, we boot from SD, switching an OS is obviously a piece of cake as a result :)

Currently with the build your using how much free space is on the NAND, or should that be how big is the image on the SD card?

I'm not on top of current image I'm afraid so can't really say; I'm using very tiny micro-images on SD (fast boot no crap in the way).

Can't check it at work, but I believe there's been a couple vids, and they may not be with the shipping Window Manager.....

I know KDE is a windowing system.
Also, Android is actually pretty groovy. It's not setup very well when running on anything other than a phone (like VMware imaging for x86 version), but if it can run "normal" Pandora programs, it would make a pretty nice secondary OS..
I like the slide in menu!
