Well after searching the web for a bit I thought I might as well ask here. I'm trying to learn the basics of japanese language and to motivate myself I've decided to buy an original japanese manga.
This one http://www.amazon.com/TEKKONKINKREET-Black...o/dp/1421518678 came highly recommended, however I'm having trouble finding a distributor in the EU who sells the japanese version. So does anyone know one? :)

Thanks

Wow, that's a coincidence. I just started teaching myself Japanese as well. I finished learning the kana a few days ago, and now I'm using a book called Remembering the Kanji to learn the kanji, then I'm going to get to grammar. I'll admit the method I'm using is kind of boring, because I can't really read any real Japanese for a while, but it does seem to be working fairly well.

Sorry I don't have any answer for your question, though.

I'm using this as my main source: http://buna.arts.yorku.ca/japanese/eljp/ejlecnotes.html# :)

Thanks for the link Orkie. I also found this site: http://benippon.com/
They take requests, but the shipping costs are pretty high. Does anybody have experience with them?

Well shoppingmalljapan.com will also do orders from Japanese web shops that won't ship outside of Japan, as well as Yahoo Japan and that should let you buy pretty much everything. Plus they will do Sea Freight which is very cheap even for heavier objects.
