Not the oldest one by sebt3, the 3 year old PND on the repo. It's called Vlc2. I'm guessing they'd both do the job, though.
WHy not use audacious since it does not seem to have the problems deadbeef has?

Lol, that's a curious question. I suppose because I never really like audacious and I'm used to using VLC?
Maybe I misunderstood your comment - are you usually using VLC for audio playback (even outside of the Pandora world) ? I have always used VLC for video playback mainly.
Uh-oh, it doesn't work at the same time as the headset (the audio gets choppy and the controller buttons stop doing anything)...
