Trying to use a Razer Orochi mouse with my OP and it worked fine until I closed the lid (low power mode). Now the only thing that happens is the BT LED blinks for every event sent over BT (movement, click). I'm using HF6 Final. I checked dmesg and get this:

firmware: requesting brf6300.bin

hci_h4p hci_h4p: BT hci up and running

input: Razer Orochi as /devices/virtual/bluetooth/hci0/hci0:1/input9

I tried rebooting the OP, removing and readding the mouse, and still nothing

Here's a fresh dmesg log

Thought I'd test this out and I'm sad to report that this problem also occurs with my microsoft bluetooth notebook mouse 5000.

For what it is worth here is what I did :

Boot Pandora

Toggle Bluetooth on

Connect Mouse, mouse worked as expected

Toggle Bluetooth off

Close lid to go in to low power mode

Open Lid

Toggle Bluetooth on

Mouse appears to connect but does not work as per the above posts

What I was hoping to be able to post was that you can avoid the problem by toggling the bluetooth off before closing the lid, no such luck. :(

I have a similar thread that I started a few months ago. I'm seeing the same issues with a generic BT mouse (from eBay) and a Microsoft 5000 mouse. Here is how I can reproduce this (for both mice):

1. Mouse is working fine after initial pairing

2. Turn mouse off

3. Turn mouse on

4. BT LED on Pandora blinks when I move the mouse, but there is no cursor movement on the OP. Same with button clicks.

5. To get mouse working again, log out and then log in

I tried a bunch of things to see if there was some initialization script that was running upon log-in that was resetting the connection. No luck. If I could only find a less invasive way of fixing this than logging out, I'd be happy.

What's strange is that NotJimCarrey reported that even a reboot didn't cure the problem, but DrKlaw says that logging off and on again cures the problem.

Doesn't a reboot always include logging off and on?

Any way to make these two different statements fit?

Daniel

I solved this issue in this way:

Everytime mouse become unresponsive [after closing lid or sth] remove pairing OP <> BT Mouse in Bluetooth options and re-pair mouse once again. It works for my BT mouse. Easy..

I have to do the same thing with the ICP with my Pandora when I re-pair up occasionally.
