The original authors just mentioned to me that they're planning to do a remake of Blue Angelo and are currently running a Kickstarter crowdfunding.

This looks pretty nice and will hopefully be a nice upgrade to the GP32 version.

Unfortunately, right now it seems the original classic version will currently stay on the GP32. I asked whether I could license it somehow so that the classic version will see a release on Pandora or similar handhelds, but they don't want to do that.
They might consider a PC classic version as stretch goal though.

Anyways, some of you might be interested, so I thought I'd post that here :)

Game looks good and I wish them good luck.

Unfortunately I expect it will be challenging to reach their goal, which is very high. The usual goal for Metroidvania-style games on KS is around $50k, some significantly less. Unless we're talking about Bloodstained. It's not exactly an underrepresented genre either.

I always were curious about that game, I never had a GP32 and never played that game, but always seen good reviews about it

Would this maybe be possible to be ported onto the Pyra? Seams like the developers like open source handheld.
