Sega, best hardware? :blink:thecheat posted on Aug 4 2004 at 06:50 PM said:it won't happen. not a chance in hell.
i am really glad that their attempt to but Sega failed earlier though. i would have sold all of my sega systems and bought a PS2 earlier
in case you didnt know from begore, i am a massive segaholic and i hate microsoft, so to me that's like apple selling to microsoft. for years, sega and apple have sold the greatest and best harware, and if one sold to microsoft, then there woud be nothing! i'd have to get a Sun machine then again, that IS what i am goingto buy when i get into college.
SEGA only offered Shemue to XBOX and not PS2 and GCdavey g posted on Aug 4 2004 at 07:26 PM said:I wouldn't have seen Nintendo or Sony pick up Shenmue 2 and sticking it on their consoles
I agree. Microsoft is great, if it wasn't for them the whole computer industry would never have got so high off the ground. And Windows XP rules.LHC posted on Aug 4 2004 at 07:39 PM said:I don't understand this Microsoft hate but I assume it is some sort of pseudo socialism.
You do realise that Shenmue 2 was the first game developed specifically for the controller S, the first game to have the controller S in the manual rather than the duke. Therefore the controller can't be the reason for Sega offering Shenmue 2 to Microsoft and it's pretty obvious that that is not the reason. No game company would only port a game to one console just because of the controller. That is just idiotic.mattmagoo posted on Aug 4 2004 at 07:44 PM said:the reason wat XBOX has the most similar controller and no other control system would've worked with Shenmue
Microsoft hate is for people that think its cool even though they have a partition of Windows or a computer with it on(generally). When you ask them why they say that they can't help that people are behind and wont develop for Linux.LHC posted on Aug 4 2004 at 07:39 PM said:I don't understand this Microsoft hate but I assume it is some sort of pseudo socialism.
Selling products in exchange for money is evil now?generalnmx posted on Aug 4 2004 at 09:27 PM said:Anyway, I feel Nintendo is almost as evil as Microsoft nowadays (especially with their "remake" policy for GBA),
