Hi, my frontlit GP32 arrived a few days ago and I must say that I am very impressed. The emulators are great, and the Doom port knocked my socks off - I can't believe how fast it runs.

The thing I mainly got the system for though is to code stuff for it. I'm not a great coder, but I advise anyone who has a GP32 to at least try to learn some C and give it a go, the sense of achievement and satisfaction you can get from seeing something you have made yourself is unreal. After all, in a few years when Microsoft or Sony or some other big company monopolises the market you will have to pay a fortune for the privilege of coding for their machines.

Anyone willing to give it a go?

Yeah, not so much the language learning bit that's putting me off as opposed to setting up the compiler. Too many switches; and whilst I can use a makefile (just) to get a proggy workings from sources in Linux, I've no idea at all how to create one.

Of course, intending to eventually, possibly over the summer, but still a big task. And of course, I cfb to buy a book (online tutorial are as always the way forward :) )

It's very easy to program for GP32, only problem is that the compiler dosen't want to compile a 5MB include file
