My Pandora has been on charge most of today, and seemed to max out at 88% around 12pm.

Could this be a battery problem, or just a "reporting" thing?

This probablem usually occurs when the battery isn't making full contact with the pins.

Reseat the battery: just take it out and put it back in. Sometimes a piece of folded tissue paper between the battery and the cover helps.

Is that with the charger or over USB? If it's over USB, then from my experience that's pretty normal. You can just unplug the USB cable and put it back to get up to 100%. If it's with the charger, then see WizardStan's post. Also, if you let it continue to charge after 100%, then it will turn off charging and gradually drain to around 87% before it begins to charge again. That's normal to keep it from overcharging.

It actually only drains to 95% now, as of hot fix 6. Minimizes morning surprises.

Cheers. It looks like the problem might be simpler than that. It just so happens that my battery cover has one of the three plastic notches that seat the cover in has broken off - Which happens to be the one at the side of the contacts. Luckily, I've found the broken piece, so I should just be able to glue it back together, and that should be okay

Neither - it's to do with the battery/battery case
