Atari ST Emulater ?

Is this possible ?

Dungeon Master, Oids, Carrier Command, Midwinter ...... anyone ???

Yes !! this would be my choice of emulator of them all!

-Dungeon Master, Grandad and the holy vest(one of the best pd games ever!), Kick Off 2, Colorado, Midwinter, Flood, Mortville Manor, Buggy Boy, Sundog!, Battlemaster - oh the joy!

It was a adventure game wherest you control a grandad in a wheel chair - very good graphics - It was claimed to be the best pd game ever! - and it was very funny - dark humour. A sequel was even released - the music on the sequel was amazing for an atari st/e -

I just searching the net to find it for you - I checked earlier today and the server is up:-

http://storage.atari-source.com/storage/at...ub/atari/Games/

Here you will find
Grandad.zip - the original
Grand2_1.zip & Grand2_2.zip - the sequel

You've probably already got an st emulator(Steem is a good un) so enjoy! -

The ST is quite a simple machine to emulate (compared to say the amiga), there is no reason why this won't happen quite soon :)

I'd like to see a (old 640k of ram, 12mhz style) PC emulator myself, for things like Alone in the dark.

I agree - I don't see the point in some ports people are requesting(eg, sensible world of soccer) - when an amiga emulator\dos emulator could do this - just seems a waste of time.

A dos emulator would be good - but how hard would it be to emulate various sound\video hardware - also to configure extended\expanded(like a memory manager - qemm)

Thanks for your time and trouble 'timthepig' I've downloaded it and will get stuck into it.

I don't think I'll wait until someone comes up with an ST emulater for the GP32 to play it on (I might be waiting some time !, unfortunatley).

Also, I might be totally wrong, but if your the craigx who I bought my GP32 off this week, thanks for the quick service !

Cheers.

Craig, that PC emulator... Something like PocketDOS? :)

Maybe the PocketDOS people can be asked to make a port for the GP32?

True... and it emulates as much ram as a give PDA can give. One of the latest PocketDOS releases also supports MCGA (320x200x256) displays.

I got Dune 2 to run on my PDA with it, slowly as it is an old PDA, but it runs.
