I haven't been here in a while. Was a lurker from time to time but just forgot to check in in the last 18 months. Can someone quickly summarize any relevant news?

Things I want to know about

-PCSX emulation (perfect?)

-Are there plans to upgrade the board anytime soon? (would love to see a 1ghzprocessor)

-How is the business doing? Are the team making profits? Will they continue making consoles?

1. Pretty close to perfect in my mind.

2. Ugg let them ship all the orders before even thinking this.. Plus Majority of the Pandoras will over-clock to 1ghz fine.

3. I'll let someone from OP answer that one.

Been lurking myself for a while too.As far as i know there are no plans for a revised or faster pandora at the moment.Pcsx? Do you mean psx rearmed?Playstation emulation is very good and the emu has been updated again recently. They are in talks with another company in germany to to handle the production of batch 2 pandoras and more. The I controlpad is solid and selling well apparently.

Thanks, whats new on the homebrew front? Any decent games out?

An emphatic, "Yes."

Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to try out all of the ones that are on the application sites.

I can tell you, though, if you like arcade space ship blasting adrenaline games, start with Super Geometry Dust.

I've also squandered many fine hours with Vulture's Eye (Isometric graphical Nethack) and playing Master of Magic under DosBox.

I'm not limited by quality games - just limited on time to find and enjoy them.

1. Pretty much. Some games require you to overclock to 900~1000mhz though and OPP5 (Legend of Dragoon) to run fullspeed.

But yes... nearly every game runs fullspeed with the right setting, even the 3D intensive ones like LoD. :D

2. Not that I know of, but there is a 1ghz processor in there anyway you only have to change the CPU settings to OPP5 + 1ghz on the Operating System. :D

3. That's something the team has to answer and I sure hope they will, the Pandora is awesome.

Sadly the only thing that I would improve bout the Pandora is the CPU, RAM, Board.

It's the only bottleneck I have seen on it so far... but with improving specs the power consumption usually increases aswell... which means if you were to upgrade this maybe a diff set of battery cells would be required.
