This wanna-have-a-amiga-emu thing has been excessive discussed. I know its almost a shame for a old amiga-fella to use the AtariST-Emulator, but the games are nearly the same. If you can't live without a amiga-emu, go ahead, invent one.
The spanish Screenshots are reckoned to be fake, no other news has appeared about it in months, and no Amiga emu has been entered into the competition. Which is a shame There are loads of threads about this, and the general concensus seemed to be: yes, with a damn good assembler programmer, and maybe a high frame skip/sound turned off, it could be possible.
I think it would really depend on what you want to emulate.
Forget the Amiga 1200\4000 chipsets for a start.
A 68000 based machine would be possible with the OCS or ECS chipset.
It`ll be tricker than the ST emulator by far, there are half a dozen custom chips in an amiga which are supposed to be bastards to get going at a decent speed under emulation.
