Hello everyone.
I'm intrested in buying an Ac adapter.
What am I looking for ?
I (think I) know - 3.7 v (how will 4.5 do?) and 1000 ma.
Also, I read somewhere that unregulated is bad for the 2x - what exacly is unregulated?

Preferably a 3.3v 1A (or more, current wise) with a centre negative (very important!).
Have a look here for the Wiki entry on power supplies.
Unregulated is "bad", it means the voltage being supplied could (and probably will) change depending on what current is being drawn. When there's no load it can be much higher than when your 2x unit is starting to draw current.
3v works as well (it's what I use) and I believe 4.5v will although I wouldn't go that far.
Have a search, there are some other threads about this.
I use a regulated universal power supply from Argos (I think that's where I got it from) and it works a treat.
Only problem I had with it is when I move it sometimes the connector "dis-connects" but that's more to do with the physical connector more than than the unit itself (if that makes sense)
