Since we're on the subject Mupen64 is a good little emulator (that runs on linux) that has various display plugins that can play the N64 game with/out certian visual enhancements. They may not look as good as the original but the game is still the game. Something like that may be able to get a few N64 titles playing but it would take some work.
To be honest I would rather see good home brews then emulated classics but I also want to impress my friends and get them to by a gp2x as well. That the homebrew game community can grow in the states.
To that end Ive been thinking of making either
1. a quake engine mod that would alow people to use .blend files directly. Basicaly, make a game in blender, save file, place in blendedquake directory, play in quake engine
2. a blender exporter that creates the needed files for quake and creates a script that will let you execute them on the gp2x.
any thoughts?
