hi
anyone interested in devlopping
a pdf reader [ we can use xreader for linux source code ]

and a browser / html reader
so one can read offline a web site ??

duno about the PDF veiwer, but the HTML veiwer is an interesting thing we have discussed, and would be our first step towards making a online browser for the GP32 when the GP32-phone link is released, or when soemone makes their own with driver and all that shit

great to bring them back up again :D

There was a port of Contiki which is a text webbrowser and webserver for c64 and all the computers with no memory at all.

But he has kinda stoped it :(

I think what might be easier for reading news u dragged of cnet nbc etc is to get a
HTML deleter which takes out all the html specific code so u can read it all as text.

and it could have basic functions like allowing Bold underline and Italic.

There is very simple C code where it shows u how to remove the html formatting.

I dont remember the website but i'll have a look for it again. I tink it was on the w3c site on html standards.
