    Power Adapter

Yay, thank you! Uhm, I'm not so good at this so perhaps someone here could point one out for me (like on eBay.co.uk)? '-_- Or at least tell me what to look for?

    Power Adapter

Quick question: can the GP2X take a regular AC adapter such as this one or do I need the official one? Because I seem to have misplaced mine and don't feel like spending $$$ on another... I'm currently stuck with fw 2.0 so that's why I'm asking >_<

    Space Trader

I myself would like to see an updated/enhanced version, because Space Trader quickly got repetitive and boring IMO. Ur-Quan Masters for the win :)

    Ur-quan Masters

Control.cfg? I don't even have that... mine contains a total of 7 files and 2 directories, adding up to 13,7Mb. Maybe I'm not doing this right... When the readme speaks of "installing" the game, that's "unzipping" uqm-0.2-r1.zip to mnt/sd/games/uqm correct?

    Ur-quan Masters

So, I've downloaded and installed the Ur-Quan Masters (or Star Control 2) port v0.2-r1 along with uqm-0.4.2-content.uqm and while I do get to see the game's intro and main menu, I cannot proceed any further because the controls are not responding :/ Has anyone else had this problem? I'm dying...

    New To The Scene

My unit has finally arrived! And it's so much smaller than I expected it to be, though somewhat thick. Anyhow, I just wanted ya'll to know. I'm too excited to write anything more at this point of time - I just wanna give it a go and call in sick at work tomorrow ^_^

    New To The Scene

Hopefully I won't drop the console other than when it's protected by the carry bag which I also purchased ^_^ Thinking about adding a wrist-strap to it as well, I've got plenty of them lying around.

    New To The Scene

Ah! Thanks :) And I have encountered a couple of readme-files that are very cryptic on where to put what...

    New To The Scene

Here's a true noob-questions for which I appologice that I must ask: do all emulators go into mnt/sd/ or does it depend on the application - will the root directory do for some?

    New To The Scene

Thanks nubie, I'll be sure to look those applications up - just downloaded GEP, looks cool :) That is a good advice yes, and one that I agree with. That's how most ppl trash their consoles after having them flashed, chipped or whatever (whether it be retro or brand new games they're playing)...

    Space Crusade

Yeah Space Crusade is kinda the only reason to why I downloaded OutCaST in the first place ^_^

    New To The Scene

Thanks freddy, though I've already read the readme-files on every emulator and game I've downloaded so far - I'll be sure to look at them again to make sure that I didn't miss out on any vital information! :) I bought the power supply as well, so no worries ^_^ Oh how I wish that I was skilled...

    Space Crusade

Whoa I can't believe I didn't spot those sticky threads! You shouldn't have more than one though (the top one), the other ones were just confusing and I have to admit that it took me some time to understand the meaning of them. Sorry everyone! But hey, we all do mistakes now don't we :) Please...

    New To The Scene

While I never bothered with getting a GP32, the device has always fascinated me because of its powerful emulating capabilities and so, when the GP2X was announced, I was very much looking forward to it. Two weeks ago I read Craig’s much informative review on the GP2X’s current state and was...

    Space Crusade

I would just like to request a port for Space Crusade by Gremlin and Games Workshop, because: * The game offers a lot of variety and many neat features * It supports hot-seat multiplayer for up to three people on the same GP2X. * Warhammer 40.000 is a very popular universe especially nowadays...
