Ok so I ordered an 8GB SD card along with the Pandora.
The invoice in the box says "1 x 8 GB SD (Air)" but there is non SD Card in the box.
Also, is it normal that I got a US plug when I'm in Australia?
This new toy is so damn cute though. I'd totally forgotten about it until it arrived.
Interested in people's views of porting ioquake3 to the OMAP3350.
I am aware that several people have ported Quake3 to OpenGL ES platforms but it seems like no one is willing to GPL that code.
I'm not sure if someone else here is already doing it or not (gave up stalking these forums after...
Ok, I get that no one in charge of Pandora has as much control over Bank issues as they would like so this is not a rant thread and anyone posting should try and keep things constructive.
I am wondering if any more details of the credit card charge back are available?
Specifically, when will...
Ubuntu 7.04 being run on OMAP3

Not sure about specs but it is worth watching none the less.
I'm trying to set up a dev environment in Ubuntu 7.10
I've got Eclipse running with CDT all fine.
I've downloaded and installed the toolchain from Open2x. Thus I now have everything sitting in /opt/open2x/gcc-4.1.1-glibc-2.3.6
The problem is I've set up a basic managed c++ project in Eclipse...
Is there anyway to have save states work in Cps2 so that they work after switching the power off?
As far as my experience goes, it seems that the saves states can be loaded successfully only if you haven't switched the Gp2x off since you saved the game.
Really hope there is some way to do...
I'm trying to compile the ZeEngine Source code.
I'm using the stock standard GP2X Windows SDK.
Everything seems ok, no errors but the resulting binary is only 917Kb which is about 30Kb smaller than the binary provided with the source.
When I run this on my GP2X, all I get is a blank screen...
Ok so I see the very cool and very promising ZeEngineGP2X code has been released.......
Is there any more info out there on the net other than the source code itself?
I mean the source is pretty well structured and variables labeled well but I was wondering if there was discussion or an...
Ok, this is really starting to get to me.
I just want to be able to transfer a file to my GP2X via the USB cable.
(I have an SD reader but sneaker-netting during development is starting to make me want to dev for other platforms frankly)
So USB file transfers where 99% under 1.2.1. I had no...
Just debugging my app be manually transferring over SD card.
Just wondering - it looks like the GP2X will cache the old version of my gpe. Is there a way to force it to load the new version?
....or am I mistaken about caching of gpes?
Ok, looking for opinions on a file format for storing 3d data in.
Firstly does a file format exist that is OGL ES friendly and readily available?
If not, what qualities are best for the GP2X?
I assume the ideal for the GP2X would be fixed-point but what would be the best size for speed and...
It seems the usb drivers on the GP2X are borked once I've upgraded to 1.4.
It isn't windows or linux. The GP2X doesn't show up under either of them (show up under the device manager or lsusb that is).
Should I re-flash the 1.4 upgrade - do people think that might help?
Under 1.21, usb was...
When we are using gfoot's serial over USB program, what areas of the filesystem should one not play with for fear of bricking and/or generally clobbering useful stuff?
I presume /mnt/nand is a good idea to avoid?
Anything else?
/dev ? could playing with these cause a nasty crash/ lock up?
I've had the Gp2x two days now. Yesterday Windows could sort of detect the gp2x as a "Usb linux storage gadget" but now, I've reinstalled windows today and it won't pick up the GP2x when it is plugged in.
I've updated USB drivers for my motherboard.
Any other ideas?
