hey thanks. yeah i got bg1 working just now :) i never played through bg1 so i'll do that and hopefully in the next few months, by the time i've completed it, there will be an optimised gemrb engine for the panda :)
Hey thanks for all the suggestions. I have updated the game/software list on the OP.
i agree with the fact that all features need to somehow be covered. it's one of the hardest things to make a very short engaging video. less is more as they say.
so it will be done in a type of infomercial...
really it has crashed? i have read some other posters comment on crashes etc. i've had my panda now for just under two weeks and i am always oc as far as 900mhz and it never crashes. and when running SNES9x4P i only need to oc to 600 - and of course never crashed either
maybe i'm lucky or...
yes you are right about the copyright. in general you can not, and should not "direct" a copyright image into an ad. this is true of the name of the systems themselves - they are also trademarks. i guess the whole panda concept and emu scene skates on this thin ice in general. GPH did it when...
yeah i know ed works in video editing - if OP team decide they don't like it i'll pull it. just trying to contribute something to the community - and criag has given me the ok to feature the panda in a tv series i'm producing - so i'm sure he won't mind a fan made ad. i'm sure he'll correct me...
i have never used unix and have had no problem getting emulators to work just by following online documentation. i'm a computer dumbo and if i can get it working i am sure you can too :)
Ok guys I am actually a director/producer in my spare time and want to create a kick-ass ad for the panda. so please make suggestions on what the ad should convey and i will draft a script. i want to showcase it portability, functions, but most importantly games that will showcase it's...
simply by playing the top 10 games on snes, genesis and psx has enough gaming for the next year or so - by then n64 emu will be tops too
yep the fun will never end. it is like crack. i go to bed thinking about my panda.
currently playing through a link to the past on snes, ffvii and gran...
sound, frame rate functionality of the panda is awesome - the fact that it runs so well already just has me excited about the next round of emu updates can't wait mupen64 compatibility and speed to get worked on. oh and FBA as well. the scene is not dead, it just rides the waves
most peeps see the panda in action and ask "wtf is that?" - when i explain it to them and show them they want one - then i tell them the price and they go "i might as well get a [insert commercial handheld system here]" - it's a fact that most just don't get it.
anyway answering the OP - I...

hey thanks mate that's the thread i was referring to. it's not clear by reading the discussions what the final folder structure is meant to be. and as you can see form my steps above i have done the right thing. so this is my structure at the moment:
/pandora/appdata/gemrb/bg2 has all the...
