Got F-200 Today, But Some Emulators Not Work

Just tried SF2 on pico drive (60fps), and was able to pull off dragon punch and fireballs both ways without any trouble. Just thought you'd like to know.

A Few Initial Findings About The Gp2x F-200

My f-200 makes it to 280 before crashing in gpsp too (crashes at 285). I love it, all the games I've thrown at it run beautifully. Also noticed that on Windows machines, the f-200 wont return from the usb-connected mode after safely removing it, but on my Linux box, it returns to the normal menu...

Does sf2 run best on Genesis, Snes, or MAME?

Got F-200 Today, But Some Emulators Not Work

Problem is the firmware on this thing doesn't have the samba and the telnet and all that, you don't have the choice to even enable that in the systems menu. Would I have these options if i loaded an older firmware, and would it be safe to do that? Thanks.

Got F-200 Today, But Some Emulators Not Work

How do I do this? My computer is automatically detecting the gp as a card reader, and so I can't actually see what's on the device.

Got F-200 Today, But Some Emulators Not Work

Woohoo! I just got mine. D-pad is awesome, though I can't say how it compares to the f-100 (I'm from the gp32 days), and the touch screen seems to be in order - though I'm not sure how accurate it is yet. I'm excited with the possibilities that crop up for programming on this thing - seems...

GP2X Action / Puzzle Need Coder

Is there any sourcecode for the game on the page? I didn't really see much to work with, unless you mean write the game from scratch and just use the graphics and sound?

    Dynamism's Andlinux Poc1 Released!

The difference here is that cygwin emulates the look and feel of linux and, correct me if i'm wrong on this, the programs are limited as they are sort of ported to windows. This on the other hand is an actual linux environment that will me able to run the majority of linux applications without...

    GP2X Possible N64 Emulator Port

If i remember correctly, someone coded a 64 emulator for gp32 just to see if it could be done. Apparently it worked, but nothing even close to playable, so it wasn't released. And i would look around for an emu that isn't based around sdl if possible.

How About A Gp32 Emulator For The Gp2x

So you can emulate the 2 commercial games worth playing? It's easier just to port any homebrew stuff over, but seriously, do you really want to play the commercial games?

GP2X Dynamism Andlinux (gp2x) Poc Tonight

No problem, i'm very excited for this! I've been waiting for an easy way to get linux on my laptop without having to resize ntfs partitions or format anything.

Are you talking about something sorta like this? http://www.colinux.org/ If so, what's the advantage to this particular distro?

    The Ur-quan Masters

This is probably the first port that has made me strongly consider picking up a gp2x. Thank you.

    GP2X Blender 3d Game Engine?

Actually, it's more like Model it->Script it->Compile executable or run it. Yes, i know python is an interpereted language, but blender has the capability to generate self contained executables.

    GP2X Blender 3d Game Engine?

The game engine is actually based around the python language, which happens to already be somewhat ported with pygame (correct me if i'm wrong?). I'm not going to pretend i know much about the project, other than it is the blender engine coupled with python.

    A Plead To Devs

If it is really important to you, you would be doing something about it yourself. If you want to keep the gp32 alive, then do it, start coding. First off, no... the gp32 has alot of potential left in it. Second, i believe that if the gp32 dev scene is going to stay alive, it is going to be on...

    GP2X Visual Basic

Suprisingly i've found that chapter three in volume one is a nice introduction to C and procedural languages in general. One thing that is probably true is that the sections on OOP are designed to teach people who have the perspective of someone fluent in some sort of procedural language.
