Gp2x Joystick Exposed - The Internals

you can "paint" everything with that paint/glue except the remaining contacts. i can't imagine how you can solder a metal layer on this contact. soldering tin is not very adhesive and this is a blank piece of metal.

Gp2x Joystick Exposed - The Internals

nice idea, but practical impossible. i don't think you can solder them that precisely that it's still playable and you can't solder them that they will last "foreever". with normal soldering they will fall apart easily, i guess. so i would go for the other option, to decrease the size of the...

Gp2x Joystick Exposed - The Internals

edit...oops mistake. i caan't really see, how the contacts "get contact". what actually is touching these 8 contacts? edit2: if the contact is made by this round "contactor hat", it would be possible to shorten the bigger contacts with an isolator.

    Vice2x

wow! i just tried it and it is absolutely playable. absolutely great! this means very compatible C64 gaming on our little GP2X :) only the colors are a bit washed out, i guess it's because of your early, too bright dev-unit. thank you very very much.

    Handy V0.1

the authors project page is updated and the screen size is now fullscreen (version 01a). but i still can't hear sound although he was talking about sound... maybe it's just in progress or so. and opt1 and opt2 is mapped to volume + and -, so i'm not sure, how you can control the volume.

    Mamegp2x Needs Artwork!

do you want to implement the picture into the executable? because there's also the option to load the bitmaps from file like a skin. (i guess the NK-emus do it this way). so there's no real hurry and everyone can create/use own skins...

GP32 Basic Sound Questions (using Mr.mirko)

hi, i have a few question in adding sound (effects) to a game. as i never did something with sound before, i'm a bit confused. in some threads there's some diskussion about sound in general, but i couldn't find anything that helps me. in which format do the sound files have to be, so that i...
