    Drpocketsnes 6.5.0 Caanoo

The sound in Live a Live is off in DrPocketSNES - perhaps that's a performance problem. Basically, I think that SNES9X4C has a better compatability list, though the inability to overclock and inability to change games without closing the emulator are the main problems with it.

    Final Fantasy Not Saving..

Well, according to the readme included with the DrPocketSNES Emulator, it used to save the SRAM of a game by checking during the game (using a timer, I guess). These checks slowed down the game, so the more recent versions only save if you go back to the game menu. I would assume it might be the...

    Final Fantasy Not Saving..

I'm guessing you didn't go back to the emulator after saving, but simply turned the Caanoo off. For SNES emulators, SRAM (the built-in saving system) will only save to the Caanoo given you return to the menu - saving during gameplay was making the framerate in the emulator fluctuate, I believe.

Just Ordered My Caanoo - Now What? :)

Firmware is the internal software that the Caanoo runs (kind of like the Operating System and internal functions of the game).

    Drpocketsnes 6.5.0 Caanoo

Was PocketSNES considerably better than either SNES9X4C or DrPocketSNES?

Wondering If Somethings Possible Or Not..

I don't quite understand - why not put the emulators in the Games or Apps folder? Why can't you access them from the Game or Apps menu?

    New Bennugd Tutorial

Hey, there. So, not too long ago, I started a blog called Game Up!, with the main feature being that it holds tutorials for game development (just a basic 'Hello World' one for BennuGD and an introductory one for the Blender Game Engine, a 2D / 3D Game Engine for PCs. Here's the link to it...

    Lcd Adjustment/utility

The battery lasts long enough for me - it's no DS, but it gets the job done. However, a darker setting for the backlight (like Off at the bottom) would be nice; same thing with the volume slider - it should go 0 - 25 - 50 - 75 - 100, or perhaps 0 - 10 - 20 - 50 - 100. The second range is on the...

Wondering If Somethings Possible Or Not..

I don't quite understand - if I'm hearing you right, you want to have the ini files for emulators present in the game folder, with the actual emulators elsewhere? I don't know, but maybe you could try "./emulators/snes/snes.gpe", for example. The './' should go up one folder; if that doesn't...

    Drpocketsnes 6.5.0 Caanoo

@redlemon - TOP doesn't work for me. Still, this emulator is a great improvement - like was said before me, being able to play Seiken Densetsu 3 full-speed with an UNDERCLOCKED Clock speed is amazing - I have firmware 1.5.0. Great work on porting, Maetel.

    A Mame4All Toolbar.

If you used Gimp, you could have converted the text to a layer and then move the pixels up.

    Gp2Xmb For Gph Caanoo

Nice. Keep up the good work - did you fix the problem with not seeing the Applications folder? You could just link Games to the root of the SD Card rather than the games folder, or create an Applications folder as well.

    A Mame4All Toolbar.

Tron. That's all I have to say on the matter, although the missing line could be further up (for example, the E has a slight stairstep effect. Same with the R). So... I guess that wasn't all I had to say.

    Battery Life / Charging

2.5 hours? It should be more like 5. You may have a problem with your battery, unless you're doing some very heavy stuff (video playing and playing PSX or something). You charge the unit using the (proprietary, to computer) USB port - if it turns orange, the unit is charging... Using the other...

I like White, but I've never held the black one in my hands. The Black / Navy Blue combination never really worked for me.

    A Bunch Of Little Programs

I, too, think that is a good idea. I think I may make such an example using BennuGD to develop for the Caanoo (along with other tutorials) for my blog: Game Up! It's very new, so there isn't very much on it yet, but it's coming along.

Save states haven't worked for me. It's Start + L or Start + R, right?

    Pcsx4All Caanoo Beta Testing Results

Has anyone else been able to get save states to work? When I press Start + L or Start + R, it just pauses the game until I release the buttons.

What Size Sd Cards Does Everyone Use?

4GB for me too. It's pretty stocked, but it still has 2 GB left, I think. A few music titles, and no videos; basically just games.
