I was under the impression a BIOS was an x86 thing.
The boot menu that lets you select from NAND or SD could probably be modified in that way.
(unless someone else presents a reason why it couldn't)
All companies do this, for a variety of reasons.
Ex: Microsoft limits the amount of RAM 32bit Windows can use. That's to prevent people using it on heavy duty servers.
Intel and AMD limit the speed and cache size of their lower end CPUs. Every CPU (with the same die size) costs roughly the...
This could be mitigated by allowing software targeted at different platforms. I saw Pandora and Wiz in mockups - but why not PC, Ubuntu, and OSX? If I'm porting to Pandora I might as well port to Ubuntu too! It brings in a larger customer base as well.
Really?
In Canada we have a law that...
I've never found a good free video editor. All of them have caveats that make them pretty much useless.
Care to impart your insights into Windows and OSX software? I've heard good things about Final Cut Express.
I heard that too - but the project is still in pre-alpha.
Now that is what I was...
Yeah. That's my big annoyance with eBay. I can't just log it in and forget about it.
Whoever complained about Google's 20 year cookies sucks. My major annoyance with most forums is the seemingly random logouts. My computer is secure, and my browser is used only by me, so when I tell it to stay...
Looks like a nice keyboard, but I don't spend more than $20 on them.
I usually pick up on-sale I-Rocks keyboards.

Solitaire -> Casual, Cards
Flair Solitaire -> Casual, Cards, Boobs
Most Pandora games would fall under Everybody, Teen, or Mature, I'd think. Most under Teen probably.
Do not argue with dflemstr. He has facts which he wields like hammers.
I personally can tell the difference between Triple Buffering on and Off. (which at 60fps is a sub-50ms difference)
I'm sure many people will notice it, but there's not much that can be done if it's entirely the TV...
Fail.
You were correct, and now you're arguing with (and apologizing to) a mod that has told you you're a prick repeatedly.
I think you've won this argument. No need to feed the trolls.
The delay on my TV is approximately 160ms. This is approximately 1/6th of a second. At 24fps I suppose...
There's lots of dungeon crawls out there, but not a lot of games like IceWind Dale. (That's the only one I played)
I did enjoy Titan Quest a lot though. Very well made, with decent storytelling and perfect balance. :)
