    Release Stupid Mines

It's not for the average player, though. It's for people concerned about their minesweeper speed who with a little practice will be able to do it through muscle memory alone. I'm not suggesting you'd replace stylus or controller input but it'd definitely be way faster for a lot of people, much...

    Release Stupid Mines

I'm not entirely sure what you mean? I certainly don't look down at my keyboard/controller when I'm typing or playing a game.

iCP2: They're throwing in the towel.

Who would penalise them and how though? You can't make them refund the backers money because it no longer exists.

    Release Stupid Mines

To press 2 keyboard keys on a pandora over 2 rows the maximum you need to move your finger is 1cm. You have 8 fingers, the minesweeper grid is 8x8 which means half of the time you will not need to move your fingers off the keys they're already on at all.

    Huh? (ZX Speccy Vega crowdfunding)

Yeah, that thing looks awful. I can see why they'd put a dpad on it but what I'd have done is made it similar to the Gravis Gamepad and allowed you to screw in a little arcade style stick which you could secure underside the unit like a stylus:

    Release Stupid Mines

Why not? There's a small community of people who play Minesweeper who for above all else speed is the most important thing. There's world records and so forth, they really really care about their speed so much they they managed to get Minesweeper into the Guiness book of records. Controller or...

iCP2: They're throwing in the towel.

Wow, thats probably the most badly designed thing I've ever seen. Looks awkward to hold, buttons in funny positions. Why can't someone just make literally minaturised ZX Spectrum with a full keyboard about the size of a smart phone? I mean just look at all the empty space on that thing. The...

The figures are updated constantly, they are up to date. Moscow and Berlin were not chosen arbitrarily either because what I didn't mention is that their respective CPI (cost of living index) is almost identical with Berlin at 76 and Moscow at 75 and yet you need over €1000 extra to maintain the...

What's the handheld game console do you have?

The Pandora is the only handheld I've ever owned other than an original gameboy someone gave me in 2000 or so. I'm too easily distracted to do much gaming on the move.

    Seventh Sense: Bringing Back Gamebooks!

I've been playing Seventh Sense recently and it's pretty good, the only problem I have with it is the tediously long sequence every time you attack in combat though I didn't delve too deep into the settings. The Fighting Fantasy series of gamebooks are the best ones though...

iCP2: They're throwing in the towel.

I think it would be better for people to just accept that you're not guaranteed a backer reward if a project fails. Kickstarter/Indieogogo never was nor has it claimed to be a preorder or investment platform; its patronage. Before backing a project you should probably consider exactly why...

    Release Stupid Mines

You should assign letters to the columns/rows (A-L & Q-P) and have shift or enter as a toggle for reveal/mark so say you wanted to reveal the top left square you could just press Q+A, that would instantly make it better and more wieldy than any other Minesweeper ports I can think of.

What would you like to see?

I've used Metasploit on systems with much lower requirements than they suggest and its usable; the system requirements they give assume you're using Pro or Express and Nexpose integration etc. Metasploit Framework is virtually as functional as the other versions it just requires quite a bit more...

    GOG.com

Looking at things like a countries average income in comparison to another isn't really useful either when considering this sort of thing, it's more important to consider the cost of living and individual's disposable income. A quick comparison between Moscow and Berlin tells us that: "You...

    Misc Pandora Spares (UK)

£10, the battery has only been charged once ever. Postage cost is however you want it posted (1st class, 2nd, tracked or not), but I'll only use Royal Mail. I'm in north Notts. The photo is a bit dark so it might be hard to tell but its a 1ghz so the cover will be silver.
