EXCELLENT IDEA! Now, when the Pyra comes out you already have a diy project lined up for it. Feel free to make as many threads on the subject, but this aint coming in stock. If you want something like that you'll need to do it yourself.
Its funny that you mentiom the K1 shield. The more I think about it, I might get one of those instead of a Pyra especially if it runs Linux like the Tegra 4
No problem how? Its not like QuadCore means its the worlds best device. It wont be able to run Dolphin, which is fine if thats how it works out but that doesnt mean its just "np, bro"

Is there a chance that the Pyra could run Project Denver? A desktop GPU with full Open GL ES 4.4 support would be amazing. Also 64 bit so more ram connections for faster readwrite :D
Plz for the love of god make this a thing. Three times I almost droped $250 on an OQO but every time I have to remind myself how bad they are. Im happy to support you in any way I can, man.
id like to remind people of a thread from a while back where this among other things was said
See how far we've come in only a year? If trashy and others thought Gamecube on ARM would be that slow 5 years down the line, Sonic has already far and wide shown it to be far better than that. its...
[/SPOILER]Ya I have an external hard drive with one of those. Also the Galaxy Note 3 has one built in. I think that might be the best option overall. it is larger and so easier to properly secure on the board.
Im aware its not, but its imo really close. Sonic has said on IRC that the only thing that prevents it from making significant strides in speed is the time he has. he's quite busy with his job and so cant dedicate much time to development work.
