My god... did this argument happen for the Pandora button layout as well? How long will this go on?
When is ED going to step in and put an end to the dick measuring around here?
So much for comfortable/natural n64 emulation. This layout is just horrible. Just as well spare the two extra buttons IMO as nothing is really achieved here... I think the layout should be fought over more so than the labels...
Hello. I too recently purchased a few Pandora parts from Dragonbox.de and experienced the same situations as you. Although the actual "part" doesn't appear in your cart, it can still be ordered no problem. As far as the 5 EUR charge goes, I think that is added to all parts orders as a "handling"...
I don't really care what the button labeling turns out as, but can we at least agree to arrange the buttons in a way in which we make n64 emulation comfortable? This device has the potential to be the first of its kind with enough buttons to map all n64 keys without having to substitute buttons...
I wish this whole process was being recorded as a documentary because there seems to be enough drama and clashing of ideals that would surely provide entertainment to some :D
Don't know... Just picked up a Shield so only time will tell but from the feel of the design it is going to stay firm without any problems. It's not held in place by the friction of the case like the Pandora is so opening and closing the lid doesn't eat away at the paint causing it to loosen...
It would be nice to go the Shield route and make the hinge stiff enough to allow the top screen to rest at any angle without the need for fixed locking points.
Just recently discovered this guy on YouTube so I thought I'd share his work here. I'm sure some/most already know of him, but his work is so impressive I had to share.

If Nintendo did release full games and a decent chunk of them on mobile devices, imagine the hardware that would be produced because of this. Not necessarily from Nintendo, but from any corner of the market. I think we would see a lot more nVidia Shield type devices, and maybe even an Apple...
In an attempt to suggest a name that sounds like an actual device while keeping with the "Dragon" theme I'm going to suggest "DragonByte" hoping people will appreciate the play on words. "Byte" of course taking place of the actual word "Bite" which fits well with a dragon and at the same time...
Seems to be a typo in the intro paragraph that reads as follows:
"PPSSPP is a Nintendo 64 emulator ported on Pandora by PtitSeb. Other versions exist (Android, Windows, Mac, Linux...)."
Obviously PPSSPP should be replaced with Mupen64Plus 2.0
What do you guys think of the style/feel of the Xbox 360 chat pad? I've always been a pretty big fan myself. Some might not care for the clicking noises though.
My vote goes to keeping the Pandora name/logo. It already has such a strong following and it would be nice to associate the device with a success story rather than having it deemed a failure/struggle. I just like the brand I guess.
