    Release [Repo] UAE4ARM

Well, that is actually a stronger promise than I could have hoped for. Thanks!

    Update SuperZaxxon v1.75

Never seen that, but Levi is probably right that it hasn't extracted the icons from the PNDs yet. Does using the 'Rescan' function (I think from the Select-menu) help?

Minoca OS is now Open Source

Same here, but I don't think that a CLA is necessarily dooming a project.

Will the Pandora's battery issue still be around in the Pyra?

I think ED recently mentioned that the Pyra's can run on external power alone (if enough power is provided) independent of battery presence or charge state.

Minoca OS is now Open Source

IMO it's not a big deal. Don't like that model? Don't contribute! People are contributing to permissively licensed projects all the time. It's only different from these for people planning to redistribute their own closed 'derived work'. They have to get a separate license under this model.

Will Pyra memory be susceptible to Rowhammer?

Would be interesting to know whether the RAM chips used for the 4GB version are more susceptible to the attack than the ones used for the 2GB version.

    N64 Emulation

The first two could in theory be provided by winelib.

    Last known issue fixed

Well, the bad one would take longer to charge, wouldn't it? And assuming the good cable doesn't require significantly more resources during production and disposal/recycling, it is an unneccessary waste of energy.

    Just got an Atari Lynx

Isn't Jay Miner the engineer behind the Amiga?

    LinxCon papers

And before someone gets confused by 'The set of programmers': if you hate math, programming is probably not a good career choice, and neither is computer science. Depicting loops and recursion or scientific database and UI design as being free of math is pretty clueless. Even if you don't call...

Buying SD media direct from manufacturer from now on.

The problem is that the actually relevant details (controller/flash chip make, model and production date) are never part of the listed specs. Hope is the only thing available when buying flash media.

Thank you for working on this!

    Port Requests

That just means that the byte code has been compiled for a Java 8 target. The website still claims Java 7 compatibility, but I'm not interested enough to try building it. (It's Settlers 3 after all, the one where Blue Byte took the wrong turn:-)

SD cards, just way too little capacity...

I use a compressing btrfs loop back for my wine testing game collection. A large part of these games compress surprisingly well (factro 2 or so). Haven't looked closer, but it seems graphics assets are often using low compression or uncompressed formats for on disk storage.

The indicator LEDs - what should they do?

Yes, but gaming controls and keyboard are key features. Having some kind of low power indication visible on a closed unit is definitely nice, but having the primary indication on the inside seems reasonable to me.

    Git push/pull on the LAN

You are trying to push to a repository that is not 'bare', i.e. it has a working directory. There are various options. The most popular are probably to either have a 'intermediate server repository' where the git repository is created using git init --bare and you push/pull from this from/to...

GPD Win (x86 Computer / Palmtop)

I have no interest in a windows handheld, but IMO this kludge is kind of cute. It gives the system some personality:-)

    Everyone is from Canada?

The plugin probably has become sentient and is currently discovering the paradoxical nature of nation states:-)

    Update Aseprite 1.1.7.0

Well, the rights owner obviously can choose any license without restriction. The recent explosion of 'smart' devices has lead to a significant change in the ratio of creators to users. Compared to the 90s many more creators today feel that users are not doing their part to sustain a copyleft...
