    Running Pandora VM on Windows?

I had a Pandora, but it's wrecked beyond repair, sadly. I could buy the parts to build a new one for about half the price of a pre-assembled one, maybe a bit more, but the reason I wanna emulate the OS is because I don't have that money yet, and I wanna continue developing for Pandora until I...

    Running Pandora VM on Windows?

I've gone through, like, 20 pages on Google, and every relevant page has been about running a Windows VM on Pandora, and not the other way around. I've downloaded the image of the Pandora OS, and I wanted to work on porting some stuff to it on my own PC, since my Pandora's still broken (parts...

    Need information for a repair.

So, I attach this to a drill, then just go all the way down or something? I've seen something like these that work by drilling in a hole, then using a cone bit to stick into the screw and pull it out, but these don't have that cone bit, and the ones I've seen that do are all too large.

Sounds too rough. I'd rather not risk breaking this thing, what with not being able to get a new one.

    Need information for a repair.

I need to know the dimensions of the screws found in those little wells on the back of the casing. Actually, a list of all the parts would be super useful, but those three screws are the most important part at this point. See, they're stripped, and I've tried everything I can think of to get...

The results of rescuing a kitten.

So nobody's been telling me where it is because it doesn't exist? Well, at least that's been explained. OK then, so does anyone know where I should send it? ED hasn't replied to my PM yet, which is understandable; I'm sure he gets tons of PMs each day. Also, I'm sorry for being rude here. I've...

No, that is not what I want. Again, the subject of my OP is being ignored. I'm willing to pay for the repairs; I just want to know exactly what is and is not covered. Finally, someone gets it! I want to read the warranty! And, I'm in the US. And to everyone else posting snarky/sarcastic...

The results of rescuing a kitten.

FYI, I was not asking for service in my OP, I was asking for my warranty INFORMATION, because I've asked for it here and at Ithic support several times each, and nobody has ever given me a straight answer about it. Even you avoided the question, the very SUBJECT of my post, and proceeded to be a...

Your're with Dragonbox, right? My repairs go to Ithic, and as was said, they won't cover a unit that was peed on, and the stripped wires were caused by my repair attempt. IME, that's something that'll void any warranty; there's no way they'll take it.

Well, I can't get a picture of the PCB because, guess what? I can't get the casing off again! Yup, it's stuck. And with the way Pandora's screws are set in so deep into such narrow holes, I doubt I'll be able to use any of the stripped screw treatmesnts I've found online to fix it. Also, I...

I don't have insurance, and I can't get insurance on something that's already broken. Besides, isn't warranty basically just a form of insurance, anyway? Who's to say that if I had gotten it insured that this type of damage would be covered? Unless someone knows of someone who insures this kind...

I've never soldered before. As for inhouse insurance, I've never even heard of it, to be honest. I'll check and see if anything came loose. Since I was able to get it clean enough to run again, do you think the warranty will cover it now? Or is it still void?

Well, it's running and charging again, but... ugh, I screwed up; the screen isn't turning on anymore! >_<

Turns out you don't gotta unscrew them all the way to open the back, anyway. I've just cleaned the inside, using rubber gloves to keep any salt from my fingers getting in it, and right now I've got a blow dryer with the heat off blowing on it. In a few hours, I'll stick it together and see how...

Well, new problem. The screws inside those two deeper holes on the back, on the side opposite to the shoulder buttons, seem to be stripped, so I can't get them open. I dunno how I'm gonna get in there. I'm looking online for a way now.

Hey everyone. Sorry if I seemed rude or hostile in my OP. I've just been very stressed out by all this, and I didn't mean to offend or upset anyone. Thanks for the advice. I don't have any distilled water at the moment, but I do have hydrogen peroxide, and I'm wondering if that's OK to use...

The results of rescuing a kitten.

Where can I view my warranty info? I have asked this question several times, each here and to the Ithic support department. Each and every time, anything else I say will be responded to, but the question itself is ignored as though I had never asked it. Frankly, it's pissing me off, moreso...

    Screen shell is cracked.

No, I didn't pull the side of the lid; I just pushed the tab in, but it kept popping back up.

    Screen shell is cracked.

OK, but still, does anyone know where I can look up the terms of the warranty? I want to know if mine is still active, and what will void it before I try changing anything myself.

    Screen shell is cracked.

That's the little tab I was talking about. It's been pushing the side of the shell out and made it crack. If it's not the screws, then something must have happened during repairs to misalign that tab. It's not happening on the left side, though.
